I had the chance last week to visit the Phoenix Zoo. This is not one of those huge zoo's, but it is to be honest laid out well in the desert. It has all of the normal animals you see at every zoo, the only problem is that it was 115 degrees when I went there to photograph!Needless to say it was not easy to get good shots of these wonderful animals. Most if not all of them were in the shade trying to stay cool. When I went it was around 10 a.m. but to bad it was already 110 degrees outside!
Next time though I will visit when the park opens which is 7 a.m. and hopefully I can get some shots of the animals out and about in their area.
